Version 1.5 (Apr 2025)

Added

  • Card components: Added component set for cards with default elements: progress bars and background process indicator.
  • App bar pattern: Added university logo variant for the component library.
  • Login pattern: Added a new variant for two authentication methods in one interface (simple and featured).

Updated

  • Border radius: Changed the border radius of most supported components to 8px. Only plain tooltips are left with 4px.
  • Button components: Changed padding for text buttons to reduce unnecessary whitespace.
  • Table components Updated tables to simplify the use of the component library.
  • Alert components Updated color for icons and text inside the container.

Version 1.4 (Oct 2024)

Added

  • Tab components: Introduced a new component set with several variants for easier use.
  • Chip components: Added several chip variants with icons and different colors for each status.
  • Empty states pattern: Added a few examples/components for each empty state allowed.
  • Progress components: Added component sets for linear and circular progress indicators.
  • Tooltip components: Added component sets for plain and rich tooltips.
  • Skeleton pattern: Introduced a simple skeleton component set for text, boxes, and avatars. Added a couple animation examples.

  • Snackbar components: Redesigned snackbar components with several color variants for each status.
  • Button components: Refactored component library to show the correct button variants and their use inside other components, such as regular cards, dialogs, and sheets.
  • Login pattern: Redesigned login components with 2 variants for simple and feature login forms, each one with a different background.

Added

  • Button components: Created component library to show the button variants and their use inside other components, such as regular cards, dialogs, and sheets.
  • Tables component: Provided a comprehensive example demonstrating the implementation of tables within the application's design, highlighting their functionality and use cases.
  • Textfield component: Included an example demonstrating the use of text fields in the application's design, covering variants, error states, and disabled configurations.
  • Date pickers components: Created a date picker component to facilitate date selection, featuring customizable variants and states for enhanced usability
  • Design checklist: Created a page about the Design Checklist, which is essential for teams when reviewing prototypes prior to official evaluation.

Updated

  • Iconography foundations: Changed the size icon to 20px in computer version instead of 24px.
  • Row action in tables components: Changed the maximum number of icons that user can use in the row from 2 to 3.
  • Snackbars guidelines: Added documentation about stacking snackbars.
  • Designing page: Updated this page by adding a link form for requesting access to Figma, making minimal corrections in the documentation, and removing content about access to IxDF courses.
  • Components documentation structure: Updated the structure of the components documentation
  • Images in documentation: Updated the styles to include examples with skeleton.

  • Pagination component: Included an example of how to use the pagination component in the application design.
  • Stepper component: Presented an example demonstrating the use of the stepper component in the application design.
  • Lateral navigation pattern: Provided an example illustrating the integration of the lateral navigation pattern in the application's design.
  • App bar pattern: Included an example of how to implement the app bar pattern in the application's design."

  • Admonitions documentation: Updated the styles for quote, success, and failure admonitions on the documentation page.
